Venus is the farthest point of the Earth Tuesday

Venus, the brightest of the solar system, is expected to reach the farthest point of Earth in Venus’s outer conjunction with the sun on Tuesday at 9 am local time (0600 GMT).

“The external coupling of Venus is an important phenomenon because it is an indication of its transition from its appearance in the dawn sky before the sunrise (the highest eastern horizon) to its appearance in the evening sky after the sunset (the highest western horizon),” said astronomer Bashir Marzouk.

The phenomenon of conjugation is defined as the appearance of three celestial bodies on one straight line in the sky, two types: an external association that occurs for all the planets of the solar system, an internal coupling that happens to Mercury and Venus only for their orbit around the Sun within the orbit of the planet.

The planets Mercury and Venus can be seen from the Earth’s surface in the form of different phases (houses) similar to the houses of the Moon in orbit around the Earth.

Straight line
It is known that during the outer conjugation of the flower, the center of the sun, the earth and the Venus will be on one straight line. The sun will be in the middle between the planets of the flower and the earth, and the flower will be on the opposite side of the earth behind the sun. Marzouk added that residents of Qatar and the Arab countries can monitor and see Venus on the western horizon after sunset with the naked eye or using astronomical devices, almost at the end of January. It is worth noting that the phenomenon of the external association of the flower occurred on 6 June 2016, and is expected to be repeated next year on 14 August.
